Disgraceful money grabbers - Ordered a garden parasol June 2020 for my elderly mother who is unable to sit in direct sunlight due to her cancer drugs. The very large parasol was used until September until the weather got cold and was then stored in the garage in the box until 4 weeks ago. When it was winched up again a weld on one of the arms snapped and it broke collapsing on my mother. I wrote to customer services asking for a replacement and was very quickly told it was outside the 6 months warranty. End of conversation!! If this is is a something that can collapse and hurt someone surely they would want to insect the item in any event!
