I'm paying £90+ per month for a phone line that I don't use and ADSL that tops out at 3 MB/s. The DSL regularly disconnects, sometimes every few minutes. When you email MT's support team they don't respond via email, phoning you a few hours later instead. You tell them what's wrong (usually the same thing as last time) and within a day it's fixed. No call back, no response to the original email. A few weeks / months later the cycle repeats. To be fair, all the people you speak to are helpful and friendly, but when I raise an issue via email I expect closure via email - to me that's part of being professional.
At the end of the day, Manx Telecom are only in business because they have the monopoly. If their customers had a choice then they wouldn't be their customers.
