Everything went wrong. Sold me a £35k car and lied about being able to take it in locally if it went wrong under warranty.
The engine warning light came on virtually straight away and it had 2 bald tyres.
I had to get the diagnostics done myself and then sent them the findings from Halfords. They then spent 7 weeks avoiding speaking to me or answering emails. They got my house number and name wrong so I still haven’t got a log book after 7 weeks and have now paid for and dealt with this mistake myself.
They are insisting that I drive the 3 hours to them and leave the car with them. Get taxi, train, tube , train and taxi home and then repeat the whole process again while they keep the car. There is absolutely no reason why they can’t change the valve and 2 tyres whilst I wait but are refusing to accept the diagnostics results and order in a valve!!
No one knows if the manager even exists as I’ve been asking to speak to him every week for 6 weeks! Never there and never returns a phone call.
They are nothing to do with Mercedes. Avoid at all costs as you will regret it.
