Ordered the meat on November 21st for delivery 22nd December, despite ordering so early they failed to dispatch on time. After phoning their customer services they said it would be dispatched on 22nd for delivery 23rd. Received email on the night of the 22nd saying that there was a courier issue so the package was waiting to be dispatched now on the 23rd for delivery on 24th. Had no notification from the courier when my delivery slot would be, couldn’t speak to meatbox because they had already closed for Christmas. Phoned the courier, they went above and beyond to ensure my meat was delivered. When the meat arrived, the packing slip was printed on the 23rd meaning it wasn’t packed on the 22nd and delayed because of the courier, more likely they’d forgotten about my order and fobbed me off with excuses. Meatbox is a terrible company, the whole point of preordering was so I didn’t need to worry about the meat for Christmas, instead you took my money in November failed to deliver on the promised date and I had to chase the courier to find out if I was ever going to get my delivery. It’s a good thing I’m vegetarian and was only cooking for my family of meat eaters because I will never buy from you again.
