My mom has been using MedMinder in her assisted living apartment for about 5 years. This device has save my family thousands of dollars in assisted living cost for medication distribution with the added plus that she is not hunted down to have medication distributed. During covid I fill MedMinder box once a week. I get a notification on my phone and my husband gets notified on his computer when medication hasn't been taken out of the box. I can then call mom and gently reminder her to take her medication. We have been very happy with the service too! I do recommend to my personal friends with aging parents.
