If they take your money and don't deliver or communicate.....is that, or is it not, THEFT?
My experience:
* I paid £65 for a blood pressure monitor 14 days ago: delivery promised in 2-5 days.
* I had a confirmatory email with an order no. (but no product details, as are supplied by most online traders).
* No delivery or communications since then, despite strenuous efforts on my part.
* A dead 'contact us' link in this single email and other dead links on the website.
* A website promising 'best online shop' 'convenience' 'excellent service'
* A phone number with an always-on answerphone that does not accept a message and yet invites you to call back later to repeat the experience
* A webform to 'contact us' which promises a response within 24hr.
* No reply to any of a daily series of messages sent through this webform.
MegaDepot and linked company Online Depot Ltd are owned by Mihir Solanki and Tushar Shah and are based in a unit on an industrial estate in Watford.

How to interpret all this? These two may just have terrible interpersonal skills and customer service, or it may be worse - they may believe that lies and theft are acceptable behaviour. So, if you have yet to spend money at MegaDepot, count to 10 and seriously consider these facts BEFORE clicking 'OK'. And check Trustpilot too, where my negative review was one among loads of others with similar unhappy stories. Megadepot pays for hosting of these comments here, so you can be less certain of the independence of all of them.
