I wanted a vintage style automatic watch with leather band, and preferably Australian made. After reviewing several Australian watch companies, Melbourne watches seemed best,so I ordered a Portsea model with white ceramic face, and it was promptly delivered. Am very satisfied with the quality, finish and operation. I will shortly be ordering a Chelsea model as a work watch for the farm after my previous watch gave up after 10 years. I need a watch that can withstand welding, water and dirt and general abuse, so it will be a good test. I highly recommend Melbourne watches
