I have always serviced my car with Vertu Motors in Slough. My car was experiencing multiple engine problems and I took my car to Vertu Motors, as usual. I was charged £3,088, only to find that the car still had the same problems IMMEDIATELY after I took it from the garage. The next day, my car broke down because of these problems. I took the car back to Vertu Motors Slough and they said they couldn't find any problems and returned my car a week later. I still had the same problems with the vehicle. I spoke to the manager and asked him that if I went to an independent dealer and they diagnosed a problem, if I would receive a refund. He said no. I went to the Mercedes garage in Stratford and they successfully diagnosed and fixed the problem... the exact same problem that I initially went to the Slough garage for. Vertu Motors didn't diagnose the problem correctly, installed the wrong parts in the car, didn't fix anything. For this, I have been charged a fortune. My work was disrupted for the past 10 weeks with barely any income, and I have been immensely stressed by this. I will write to Vertu Motors one more time and ask for a full refund including compensation, and I will be taking legal action if this isn't resolved beyond this.
