metal replacement lock mechanism arrived promptly and easy to fit thank you (found how-to video on youtube, tools required are a small socket , a small hammer and a helper holding something solid like a mallet behind the lock so you can tap the washers closed) I removed the old defunct nylon lock with a small hacksaw. What I would really like is to be able to replace the meter box locks with handles or have windows in the doors so that tenants and paid-by-the-hour meter-reading executives who have lost their meter box keys do not break the doors to read the meter.
