I used to live in north Powys and not too far from Oswestry. I wasa broadcast engineer for 20 year with the BBC and although I am 'into' computers, while I was living in north Powys, I bought all my computers ready built by Micro Plus - very satisfied with their service. I moved to near Llandudno in 2010 and made the mistake of trying to buy kit from a very well known chain PC supplier in Llandudno. Not just me, but also my wife - after all they are only about 3 miles from where we live, so it sort of made sense to go there. Disaster, - several times. I learned a hard lesson. Last year (December 21st 2013) I stormed out of the store after being messed about. I wanted a PC for my disabled son. It was 15:00. I got into my car and headed for Microplus in Maesbury, Oswestry. Got there in time. What a difference. I know from my own professional engineering background that those guys know their stuff and are extremely helpful in that store. They are still my default computing supplier. The next time I want some new computing kit, that is where I will head.
