I placed an order on Millets website for a christmas present, and as soon as I had done so I realised I had clicked the wrong size - an error I’m sure many people make. Straight away I went onto their website to try to rectify this but had no luck. I did find on their website that if you had just placed the order then it should be able to make cancellation within 2 hours of ordering.
So I telephone ‘customer services’, spoke to a lady and the supervisor who refused to cancel. They also did not believe their website said you could cancel within 2 hours - so I guided the supervisor to the right place, and she still point blank refused to believe it - even though it was there in black and white.
I know I could wait for it to show up and then return it - but that's not the point. It hasn't been picked, packed or dispatched yet so I should have the right to cancel? I would have happily changed the size if they would let me, but they wouldn't let me do that either.
