I used Minitool power data recovery 9.2 to recover pictures and movies from my external 5TB drive that crashed. The scan took more than a month (this details is important, keep reading) to complete and after that the partition information was lost meaning that I was left with raw files with generated names (original names were lost). After chatting with assistance they told me to try recover during scanning. That kind of worked but it was painfully slow. A mere 3.7GB folder of pictures took 10 days to recover! They said it was because of my hard drive. So I tried another recovery software from another company and guess what, I recovered the same 3.7GB folder with no issues in just 1hr! The minitool company did not give me the money back because, of course, I requested it 30 days after purchase, yeah...(remember the scanning took more than a month?). I definitely would not recommend this software to anyone!!
