I fgor Mira because I could use my HSA card for it so it wasn't an impact on our finances. I got it to repalce my Clearblue monitor I have been using on and off for the past 7 yrs for TTA within the Marquette NFP protocol. I had missed many peaks on the CB monitor which once enede up in an unplanned pregnancy. So I was looking for something more exact and quantitative. This seems like it's it. But some of the readings are confusing when i will get a medium, a zero and then a peak for example. That zero prior confuses me.
There is no official TTA protocol yet approved by NFP using Mira yet, so it's hard to know exactly how to follow it to be totally safe. They keep promising new sticks that will confirm ovulation. I'm interested in seeing if they will improve on some understanding but they keep pushing the release time out. I'm going to keep using, but hoping the folks at Marquette who are already working with Mira hurry up and get some ground rules out for us trail blazers.
