This topper is sized perfectly, lays flat on the mattress, is the promised thickness, and has no off-gassing (I have chemical sensitivities). It provides a nice padding to keep me from feeling the hard mattress underneath me. The material is very high quality. The foam is firmish. I would have preferred a quite soft foam but I am still happy with it. It is superior to memory foam in my mind, because: with memory foam, you sink down into it and it can be hard to turn over, it is bad for your posture because of the sinking, and it is hard to turn over at night because of the hole that is created once you have sunk into the memory foam. This is a great value for the money, it exceeded my expectations.
