I bought a system for my mom. I was glad that I was the one making the call because the salespeople are pretty aggressive and, at least the first one I talked to, kept going into his sales pitch rather than directly answering my questions. It sounds like they work on commission, which may drive this behavior. I then got a call or text every day for a week. I did end up buying the system. My mom needed it a week later when she fell. I don't know if the fall detection worked because she also pushed the alert button. MobileHelp spoke to her but she had trouble hearing. They contacted emergency services for her. I called customer service about the volume on the GPS unit (the base station has volume control but the GPS unit does not). Their records showed that MobileHelp had trouble hearing my mom, too. They offered to do a test but she's been in the hospital so hasn't been able to do that yet. I appreciate their willingness to do that. The salesguy insisted that the unit is "SO loud" but I helped set it up and test it and didn't think it was as loud as you'd expect for elderly people who may be hard of hearing. Overall, it worked and got my mom the help she needed. One star off for the other stuff.
