I took my iPhone X in for a new battery today to your Derby store. When I got home I noted that the face recognition software was no longer working. I immediately returned to the shop in Derby and was advised that something must have been disturbed during the battery replacement and my phone would have to be sent away for diagnosis and repair and could take 14 days Before it could be returned. This is of great inconvenience to me as I now do not have a phone for this duration. I was not offered a courtesy phone and I am also incurring costs for travel and parking due to this error in fitting the new battery. I must say the 2 staff at the shop have tried to sort the problem and have been helpful but did say this can happen when batteries are replaced. I am very disappointed to now have to be without a phone following a simple battery replacement and I am now unable to gain access to banking on line, WhatsApp plus other important applications that I use on a daily basis. No mention of any compensation was brought up by your staff and I also do not except that it should now take 14 days to repair??
