Pevious reviews about this fiasco were on Trust Pilot however Mobile Phones Direct have objected and despite removing the element they criticised am unable to post anymore.
The continuing saga. DAY 8
Eight days after ordering and cancelling a phone shortly after, from Mobile Phones Direct, I am still awaiting the refund of the cost price £469.99 and the reconnection of my ported phone number.
The phone was never delivered and remained in the hands of the supplier and their delivery partners at all times.
Despite hours waiting on the telephone and a number of negative reviews, which incidentally were the only things which resulted in any response, note, a response and not action.
I am now informed that the phone was returned to Mobile Phones Direct by their subcontractor on the 13th July yet they still have failed to refund the above mentioned £469.99.
Their latest communion was that it can take between 3 to 7 days for issue of a PAC code such that I can once again access my original mobile telephone number and be released from a contract with O2 which I have never used , however "THEY WILL SEE" if they can improve on this.
They may well be suffering cash flow problems as a result of the Coved virus but I see no reason why a 71 year old pensioner should be forced to subsidise them and lose his means of communication.
