I sadly lost my engagement ring after 17 years, and decided to buy myself a replacement. My original engagement ring was a gypsy set, three stone ring with a sapphire in the middle. Massive thing, and I loved it. I knew I couldnt duplicate it, and didnt really want to try. On the advice of my gem-crazy cousin, I investigated moissanites, and found the perfect ring on this site's sale page. I am very hard on my rings (not to mention prone to losing them)and require very low settings, as "unprong-y" as possible. The "modern engagement ring" fit the bill, and the 6 mm stone was as big and flashy as I wanted to go. I am very happy with my ring, and it looks really nice with my wedding band. I showed my new ring to my boss, and she got very excited, telling me it was the duplicate of HER long lost diamond engagement ring. She promptly ordered the same ring, with a 7.5 mm stone, and now she is ecstatic as well! She was very anxious while waiting for her ring to arrive, and I kept reassuring her that moissaniteco's customer service was great and that it would be worth the wait. I wont be able to see her ring until she gets back from vacation, but we have plans to go out on our shared wedding anniversary (we got married to our respective husbands the same day, same year, and honeymooned in the same city, oddly enough, five years before we met.) Now we will tell people we had identical engagement rings, too.
