Meter reader came and as I was in bathroom saw him late and opened door to him. He then said he couldn't read the meter as he sent a message via his device "as no access" - even though we spent about 5 minutes on doorstop, he couldn't come in and check.
How ridiculous is this system that it cannot be overridden. Imagine an elderly person trying to get to the door. Sort this out British Gas/Morrisons.
This is the third time someone has visited my property in as many weeks, and only once I was out. Not sure why meter reading wasn't taken on first visit.
