I already had a mortgage that I secured via Mortgage Finder and decided that I didn’t want to deal with a different bank for another property in RAK. It wasn’t until Ian and Conchita got involved two weeks later that the bank actually replied. Given the loss of time until then, both fortunately got the process started rapidly. It turned out that the bank wasn’t particularly well organized to manage a property purchase in RAK- as there was time pressure with a seller from Europe having limited time for the sales process in the UAE, I don’t think the purchase would have taken place in time without Ian’s contacts within the bank. As a result, I’d certainly not try to get a mortgage loan without involving Mortgage Finder from the very beginning.
