We got a condition report on a car that was cat S, which the customer knew but had not disclosed. What we also found from the report is that the car had been clocked too, customer did not know about that!
The car was written off, 3 months before its first MOT and motorcheck shows pictures of the mileage at 24k miles. Yet just a month later the car had a DVLA inspection and first MOT at just 14k miles!
I've not checked but think it unlikely we would have got this info from another company that didn't include the write off pictures and mileage.
