Great idea. Needs refinement: 1. A way to hold swing arm in alignment while loading. 2. If the safety bolt is not removed before lowering the lift, the the whole shabang needs to be shipped back to Motow for repair. Surely, this can be engineered better, to make it mistake tolerant. 3. The clamb shell holding the tire is slippery like a hocky puck on ice. The tire rotates in the cuff too easily, even if tightend to the max. I pasted 3M anti-slip pads on, and got by, for now, but the whole design is not 150/70/R17 friendly, for a typical adventure bike of 485 pounds. I am going to have to hire a welding shop to manufacture a square version of this for the tire size (a vice design would be perfect). In short, it is the most practical carrier I could find, that disappears in the trunk of my tow vehicle when not needed, no need to park a trailer and all the fuss that goes with that. The customer service is outstanding, went above and beyond helping me out, on a holiday.
