Bargain box is okay. My children find that there is a lot of coleslaw and salads and usually these are dressed in a vinegar/oil dressing which they are very much over after a few months of bargain box. We adjust recipes a lot to make sure my kids enjoy it, they usually celebrate the weeks we don't buy it. There can also sometimes be "staple" items that I don't have or is uses a lot of. An example I can think of is 1/4C mayonaise or eggs. I don't usually have eggs in my home so need to get more of these. For the price we pay I do feel like sometimes we also contribute a lot of 'staples'. Finally, the chicken always has A LOT of liquid in the packages, something I don't find when I buy meat at other places. Overall bargain box is a means to an end for our busy household. It isn't something I recommend to others unless they are extremely time poor like we are. I also think bargain probably needs to be taken out of the name. Possibly recycled recipe, everything tastes very similar box. Sorry for the negative review, if I had more time I would meal plan and buy for myself. I do like that I can get it delievered to my home and have all my meals for Sun-Thurs without much thinking.
