Since we joined My Food Bag dinner time has been transformed from a mundane mid-week grab and eat to a joyous family feast. Dinner time is now something we all look forward to, almost like eating out in our own home. Furthermore, My Choice is taking us on a culinary trip every week. We travel with our tastebuds from Thailand to Greece, all in one week. We all just love making these new taste discoveries! And it is all so easy, no planning is necessary and with just the freshest ingredients already handy in the fridge, anyone in the family can cook, not just Mom! Dinner time is now wind-down time, time to catch up with each other, connecting after a busy day, because a special dinner like this, requires a table laid, candles lit and sometimes even a nice glass of wine to go with that premium beef cut.
Something we especially like about My Food Bag, compared to other similar service providers, is that it support local NZ producers. Furthermore, we support the sustainable packaging and delivery. The only thing that had us a bit concerned is that apart from the salmon, most of the market fish we received, were red listed endangered species (https://www.forestandbird.org.nz/campaigns/best-fish-guide). We would rather not order the fish dinner options again in future unless it is salmon or prawns. Maybe this is something My Food Bag could look into. We have such a unique and sensitive marine eco-system in NZ, we should all look after it.
