We have had good experiences with Hermes, to the extent we sent a parcel with them, which was delivered quickly and efficiently.
However, the other day we had a parcel delivered by Hermes which was left just inside the front gate. Our drive is about 10m long and slopes up towards the house, so this parcel was left for about half an hour before we noticed it. In the mean time any passing could have taken it. There notification email from Hermes came a short while later.
In the light of our previous good experience with Hermes this particular delivery was very disappointing. I hope this was a single blip.
