I don't normally write reviews and I'm always quite willing to give people a second or even third a chance, but I'm afraid I've come to the end of my tether.
Hermes has managed to 'misplace' a quite valuable item ordered from Amazon, then managed to 'misplace' its replacement and subsequently they've 'misplaced' the second replacement. Unfortunately, I've just found out that Amazon have sent the third replacement via Hermes as well, so I'm not holding my breath!
I even notified Hermes that the second replacement was coming and asked them to keep track of it. Their telephone system is automated in such a way that you never get to speak to anyone and any email enquiries take a few days before they are answered, by which time it is far too late to find out what has happened to the parcels.
Personally, I wouldn't recommend using Hermes after the experience I'm having.
