Amazon, M&S, John Lewis - PLEASE never use Hermes for my parcels
They are absolutely not committed to ensuring a good customer experience. I just wanted to get in touch with someone at Hermes or add a note to the delivery that our doorbell didn't work yet in our new house and hence they would need to call me, but there was NO way to talk to a human being and the automated system just made me go in circles, so basically I missed the delivery I paid extra to have delivered next day (even though there was a note on the door explaining all of this). They don't even have an option to write a complaint - they still send you to the automated system (talking to the system is like talking to a petulant 3 year old who just repeats things over and over and does not care what you want or have to say). Their customer service is a joke.
