someone in the Hermes depot has my parcel!
My parcel was scanned into the Plymouth depot at 6am on Saturday 19 December and has disappeared since then.
It should have gone from there to the courier - maybe it did? - but Hermes staff are failing to either look for it or respond to any calls at all.
Apparently there is a person or robot at Plymouth depot called 'Charley' who will look into the issue......but nothing has happened.
This is a largish parcel with christmas gifts for my grandchildren - why isnt Hermes directors managers and supervisors doing something about the obvious security problems within its business? Why hasnt Hermes got a contact centre so people can speak to a person about the missing or damaged parcel?
Why is it that Hermes only respond to a newspaper reporter?
If that is the only way I will get a response from Hermes then I will call the newspapers!!!!!!
I have heard about the goings on in the Plymouth depot and wish I had heard this before sending my parcel through Hermes. Where are the managers and supervisors at the Plymouth depot and if there are any why are they allowing this behaviour to happen? These are other people's property which they have paid Hermes to care for and deliver!
as for customer service - it is non existent!!! If you try phoning you are on hold for 30 minutes and then Hermes disconnect the call. This has happened 10 times! So pointless trying to call them as they dont have a contact centre.
