Purchased insurance to cover an item through EBAY.
the parcel got there badly damaged. When i bought the insurance via EBAY no one said about what you and your customer need to do if you get a smashed up item. You get that information days later after you have to submit photographs - not close ups of the damage inside the box and outside. We sent them 15 photos and a buyers statement but they ignored them. they dismissed my claim totally despite the insurance i paid.
Watch out - this company does not answer to any ombudsman or complaint system. they do what they want how they want so customers beware. You are left with legal action only and small claims courts. They think they will be put off - but they are wrong in my case -its the principle. EBAY doesn't care - even though this service is on their website. They too ignored this fact.
