Two reviews originally put on wrong Hermes company which was a jewellery company, my reviews on Hermes the delivery company are as follows@
1st review -Worst delivery company, cannot speak to a real person, when phoning just answering to automatic system which only takes you to tracking. They have had my parcel at local delivery depot since 23 Dec 2021 and the status has not changed as of today 4 Jan 2022. No way of knowing when I will ever receive it as cannot speak to anyone and their automatic system is no help at all. Have now emailed the sender to tell them Hermes cannot be contacted and no idea when I will ever get my parcel, most times when Hermes is delivering a parcel to me I have trouble with them. Worst ever company. Now 6th January and Hermes still not updated my tracking which they received at the local depot on 23rd December, still say we have it and will contact you when it is out for delivery. I reckon they have lost it. Have contacted sender twice now but they have not even got back to me. Trouble is when buying online customers do not know if Hermes will be the delivery company until it is too late. Hermes is uncontactable and it's service is so bad they should be legally closed down. It is today the 18th January 2022 and still no update on the status of my parcel which Hermes has had at its local hub since 23rd December 2021. Tried contacting Hampshire Trading Standard but they say it should first be reported to Citizens Advice, but none of their offices are open and remain shut until the pandemic is over, sent them an email but not hopeful I will get anywhere there, was hoping Trading Standards would at least be able to know how to contact Hermes local hub to find out what is happening and why they are not delivering. Disgusting, if they have lost the parcel which I expect they have, then they should at least let me know, but I expect they do not want to pay out any compensation. Disgusting, awful delivery company
2nd review - Disgusting Hermes, from 23rd December 2021 the local Hermes hub had my parcel and when it was last updated was 24th December 2021, it stated 'we have it and it is on its way, we will let you know when it is out for delivery'. I checked again yesterday 21st January 2022 and the status was still the same. I got an email this morning asking me to pay for a 'redelivery', when checking the status this morning it states it is being sent back to the sender. They state they tried delivering it on the 19th and 20th January 2022, but they are a load of liars, I was in both days all day and no delivery was attempted. First of all I thought I would pay what they wanted just to get it delivered even though they have NEVER tried to deliver it before, because I was in all day on the dates they said. But when I went in with the links they wanted to know all my personal details including my mother's maiden name, this I was not prepared to do so decided I was not going to provide all the details, as they have my address and it would be delivered to my address. I went into a shop in my High Street, which is part of a UK large chain of shops to ask them how I could contact Hermes as I could not contact them by phone, email or online chat which is a robot not a real person and they said they stopped using Hermes a long time ago because their service was so bad and unreliable and he told me Hermes is the worst delivery company and that is why they stopped using them, they now use Royal Mail or one of the more reliable delivery companies. Hermes are liars, unreliable with no customer services, they cannot be contacted if there is a problem, cannot be contacted by phone to speak to a real person, email address online is no longer used and the online chat is useless as it is a robot and once you put in the tracking number it just tells you what you can see for yourself when going into the tracking number. Companies please do not use Hermes as your customers will suffer
