I ordered an item on 28th February from Debenhams for a birthday present. On 6th March I had still not received this and it was needed for the 7th. I contacted Debenhams Head office who apologised and contacted Hermes who advised it would be delivered 7th March between 5-7pm. Delivery did not arrive and I was at home all day. There was no card out through the letterbox so I contacted Debenhams Head Office again. I received a response saying Hermes were adamant they had delivered to my home address and received a signature. This was total lies. I then tried the neighbours the following day and one of them had my parcel but it was too late for the persons birthday and it certainly was not signed for by me as they had said or notified me where they had dropped it off. Today a Hermes driver was in our street and I asked him if he had delivered the parcels in my street on Saturday he said yes. I asked him why he had knocked on my door before trying to leave with someone else. He became very abusive and had absolutely no intention of apologising. I will not order anything that is to be delivered by Hermes again I think they are a disgusting courier service.
