Just appalling service, either my package has been lost, or stolen. It was received by myHermes the day before delivery was due. But then on the day of the delivery the tracker read "We're sorry your parcel has been delayed, we'll have it on the move in the next 24 hours". That was 6 days ago, no updates since. The online retailer has recorded "Delay in delivery due to external factors" since the day after the original delivery date, and has now given up and refunded. myHermes does not offer any real means to contact them either, hiding behind their automated chat app that just diverts and runs you round in circles.
Given the stories I've heard of thefts and lost parcels by the drivers this company employs, especially more in the current coronavirus climate, I'm inclined to believe my parcel is no different and it wasn't even high value. My family have had packages from myHermes where they have visibly been torn open, not just damaged in transit but visibly torn open and seals broken.
This company is a joke, with a lack of responsibility and trustworthiness. They should certainly not be trusted to deliver your parcel, they are not reliable and need far better vetting of some of their drivers. They should be investigated.
