Claiming failed delivery attempt when they didn't come near our house.
There I thought Hermes had improved their service slightly over the last months. Maybe not.
I have been at home yesterday and today the entire time. Yet, Hermes claims they made two delivery attempts. Interestingly one at 11:32 pm and another at 12:32 am (an hour later) the next day.
Their staff doesn't cope with the work and just mark attempted delivery at night.
On a different occasion, I was returning an item using Hermes. Never again. They tried to deliver to the business ONCE after 7:30 pm. As the business was closed at that time they decided that they couldn't deliver to that address and are returning the parcel to me.
I'm gobsmacked by their amateur service.
