hermes are cheap,if you are sending alot of low price parcels and dont mind taking the hit if one goes missing then they are worth using. I would never use them to send anything valuable as lost and broken items are not uncommon (happens alot more than with royal mail) and trying to get any compensation out of them is a joke, customer service is non existent and it will just be an infuriating waste of time to try to get compensated... if you are sending anything breakable it will need to be in indestructable packaging.
