Stuart Rodger
Awful experience - paid over £165 for clothing as part of Christmas. My parcel was due to be delivered when I was not home. I did not give permission for Hermes to leave my £165 parcel with anyone apart from myself. They ended up leaving it with a random person in my stair. ( under the name of Claire ) even though there is no one in my stair called Claire.... they then tell me there’s nothing they can do for me as they delivered it , again without my permission to do so. It even states in the law below: ( which they broke the rules and procedures) Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, you’re responsible for making sure my order is delivered to me at my address or to an agreed alternative safe place. I did not agree to my order being left in an alternative place and I have not received it” “If you bought something from a business to be delivered, it’s the seller’s responsibility to make sure the item is delivered to you. If the seller used a courier, they should chase the courier to find out what’s happened to your order - it’s not your responsibility. If the seller claims they've delivered it or don't know where it is, you can ask for a redelivery or a refund “ “If your item wasn't delivered to the location you agreed, it's the seller's legal responsibility to sort out the issue. You can ask them to redeliver your item. You can ask for a full refund” You, Hermes the courier, have delivered my parcel to a place I did not give permission for. I have done nothing but place an order and pay for it to turn up to my house, no where else. There was also no e signature, no card.
