I have just started the NACA process and let me tell you it is THOROUGH! They do all that they can to make sure that you are set up not only to purchase the home, but to be as financially stable and skilled in being able to handle the big financial responsibilities that come with owning a home. It is tedious, it can be slow and they ask a lot of you, but the process is slow in the beginning to ensure you can have your home for a good long time. So stick with it. I am in my qualification stage and its also been just a healthy practice for me to be looking at all my expenses and expenditure and make plans for how I am going to sustain myself in this home, and to also get training around how to multi property home that will have people renting in it!
