My next of kin passed away, I rang to close accounts and check if there were enough funds for a funeral, the person reached dpa, and confirmed there were enough funds to pay for a funeral, I rang back once all documents were sent in to be advised there were no funds for the funeral and the person had been looking at someone else's account, so I now have a bill for a funeral and no money, i I made a complaint and they sent a shocking response, will never use nationwide again and it has been so distressing I am going to the papers and social media
