We purchased the Metis boxing pole for our son as a Christmas gift in December. Recently, while he was using it, the boxing ball on top detached and flew off (it is a good job he had gloves on and no one was stood behind it, as it could have caused a very nasty injury). Upon closer examination, we discovered that the spring was severely rusted, indicating improper storage at the warehouse. It was not fit for purpose and dangerous! Despite sending photographs as evidence and reaching out to customer service twice, we regret to inform you that they have declined to accept responsibility for the faulty spring. It is disheartening that a product designed for physical activity and impact absorption would deteriorate within a mere six months. Given the circumstances, we feel compelled to express our dissatisfaction and disappointment with the product's quality and durability. Consequently, we have decided to refrain from future purchases from this company. Additionally, we intend to contact the appropriate trading standards authorities to report the product's unsuitability for its intended purpose. We hope that this matter can be resolved promptly and satisfactorily, as our son is understandably upset by the situation.
