I enjoy working at New Wave Home Care as a caregiver. Most of the staffing coordinators really do try to know my situation and thus, allow for proper handling of scheduling. They are flexible to, and understanding of the limited times I can work, as well as responsive to my constant request for assignment when I am more available. I always thank them for their patience. :) I also appreciate that I am treated not just an employee, but as a partner whose goal is to provide the utmost care for the clients. I must say that I am impressed when they take the time to explain a client's current state of health and what to expect, etc., so that I am a bit prepared to tackle the task. (I always ask questions, even after reading the care plan). I do feel that they really advocate for their clients. That says a lot about the company and the people that runs it. Of course, nothing is perfect in this world. There are areas to be improved on for some staff, but we can talk about that in private. 😉
