I had an unusual and unfortunate domestic accident with my hearing aids when they got trapped in a trouser-press (don't ask...). I didn't bother with your website but rang in and met with the most pleasant and helpful Kayleigh Shaw of "Claims". The call was an excellent combination of mutual telling and listening, resulting in Kayleigh's remarkably concise and prompt offer to cover the damage - absolutely in line with your "no quibble" advertising. A further unexpected complication arose when Specsavers increased the replacement cost after a renewed hearing test. Kayleigh and NFU simply rolled with the punches and met the claim in full after the expected deduction of my £100 excess clause. In this world of often poor, prevaricating customer-service this interaction reminds me of Portia's 'little candle throwing its beams as a good deed in a naughty world'.
