It’s hard to put a star rating for my experience with noon because when I reached out to their CEO, Faraz Khalid. He personally replied to me and managed my case until resolution.
The first issue when I ordered 3 items. I received only 1 correct item but I received another item instead of the other 2 that I actually ordered. I returned the incorrect items and ordered again.
Surprisingly the delivery guy came to my building door downstairs and asked me to go down and pick up the order. I told him please come up to the 2nd floor as I have a sick kid that I cannot leave unattended. He rejected and decided to leave and cancel my order.
When I reached out to customer service they told me that delivery guys aren’t allowed to get into buildings. I checked online and found out that this is applicable only to Government buildings and not residential.
Finally I decided to email Faraz Khalid and he immediately replied to me and looped in the concerned SVP. They handled the case perfectly but after a CEO level escalation.
What is more surprising is that the 2nd delivery guy even after such escalation asked me to go down and pick my order, I rejected but he finally came up and delivered the order to my door.
Bottom line is, Noon as a company is awesome. However they need to be careful with selecting delivery couriers because this is the only customer facing factor in the entire shopping experience. Noon maybe doing wonderful on their supply chain but the most important aspect is the customer facing personnel.
Thanks to Faraz Khalid, CEO and to Omar from the CEO office. I hope you work on enhancing such trivial issues and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the entire customer journey.
