I am writing this review to warn everyone of dealing with Noon Egypt. It seems that the business model of this subsidiary is based on selling low quality defective products, unprofessional customer services and lies.
To make long story short: Complain reference number "79918291"
I ordered a halogen heater (NEGCC0090279692) on Dec 3. Unfortunately, the second day I used the heater, its turning function stopped working, so I decided to make a return order (RNEGCC00085067) on Dec 6.
Nothing happened till Dec 16, I got an SMS stating that: "We've collected your return RNEGCC00085067 and will soon update you about its status.", so I contacted Noon telling them about this mistake because none contacted me or picked up the defective product and I sincerely and honestly thought it might be a system error.
I waited for too long hoping to hear from Noon again but that never happened, I start to contact them again on Jan 3. They said that someone was supposed to contact me 2 weeks ago which never happened. I explained to the agent again the whole situation (This is the level of unprofessionalism I am talking about, every time you contact Noon, you have to explain everything from scratch as if they don’t use any system). The agent told me that on the system, the date of picking up the product was Dec 16 and it reached their warehouse on Dec 21, again this is not true.
Finally, on Jan 9, an agent with very bad manners, contacted me asked to meet to pick up the defective product, I met him, he took it and give me a receipt of receiving the product with its packaging and signed it and then silent from Noon like usual.
I contacted them again today Jan 15, they accused me of giving them a product different from the product I bought which is utter lies. And when I tried to explain to them, they asked me to wait for 48 hours more (I have been waiting already for 40 DAYS).
How I see this whole situation, they are punishing me because perhaps I caused a problem to the person who said that he picked the defective product while he never did, and because I was honest and told them none picked it up instead of lying and ask for refund, they decided to make me pay for their mistake.
Or It is a scam process, either I get a defective product or they take it back and find any excuse to STOLE the money and never refund it!
And to be fair, I am talking specifically about Noon Egypt, I delt with Noon KSA before, they only sell high quality products and the customer services are highly professional and respectable people, I used to pick up the packages I ordered myself from their warehouse at Wadi Al Dawasir, and I had a feeling that Noon UAE is the same, they even offer a link to Consumer Rights at their Noon UAE website. But it seems that Noon Egypt has different management with different ethics and low respect for their customers.
I am not hoping that I will get my money back from this fraud company and I am not hoping that Noon Egypt will investigate this or hold anyone responsible for this almost 2 months delay or offer any compensation for the wasted time and efforts or the lies they have been telling me all that time or for accusing me of sending them a different product.
But I hope that people will learn from my lesson and not deal with this company anymore. Please, don’t expect that your experience will be different because from my own experience the whole company strategy is built on scamming customers and not providing them with decent services.
