Since I wrote my earlier review, I have interacted with three different units in noon which are the customer care team, the warranty team and the escalation team. Each has given a different and conflicting requirements with no internal coordination.
First the warranty team asks me to take the phone to Samsung authorised service centre to get a 'technical report' of the fault but when I went to the Samsung authorised centre they politely declined to give me the report since the IMEI number is not registered as sold via Samsung authorised dealer and it does not show up in their system. At least 5 different people have told me to go and I have explained that I didnt get any joy from Samsung service centre. Maybe they can arrange a visit or tell me which centre to go to but they keep insisting it is I who has to prove that it is a faulty phone and not noon.com who actually procured it and the evidence is clear with IMEI numbers being the same. What more can I do if Samsung does not give me the technical report? There is no answer from noon on this - maybe someone can actually tell me what to do next apart from repeating from the script.
Then the customer care team informed me 4 days back that my case has been escalated, they have been in touch with the supplier who has accepted the manufacturing defect and a manual refund will be arranged via the Escalation team which gave me some comfort that problem may be resolved but then I get the call from the Escalation team a day later which tells me to go to Samsung Service Centre. I explained to the Escalation Team member that last call I was updated that it will be booked as manual refund and that they should listen to the recorded conversation and their internal system notes but the story remains the same.
Then the customer care team tells me that a manager will call me and resolve this but its 3 days and no call.
noon team - please give me one straight answer after listening to your recorded conversation with me AFTER a decision maker has gone through the whole history so I can go to consumer rights unit and put all the facts in front of them.
