It works. It's great for my sensitive skin (vegan, unscented version). The packaging is recyclable. My only downside with this product is its differentiator of having to be topically applied with your own hands. It's one extra step in my busy routine while caring for a baby that doesn't make much sense. :-) A recyclable stick would be perfection in my case.
