We bought an item on Nordstrom.com. Their delivery service does not allow delivery instructions (they use a local delivery service not FedEx, UPS or USPS).
With other online retailers we always note that packages be placed in a secure area away from our door so they are not left in the open for theft. The package is on video being stolen from our front door where it was put by Nordstrom’s local delivery company.
My friend had an Amazon package stolen and they shipped a replacement item same day with no questions asked.
I’ve had to contact Nordstrom three times and they still can’t give me anything but an automated email a day after I talk to the help call center. Apparently they carry no shipping insurance at all.
