They THREATENED US TO CALL THE POLICE AND FORCE US TO LEAVE when we complained about bad service. Me and my husband stayed at Novotel Brentford for 1 night only to celebrate my husband’s birthday, the hotel is nice and clean in general but from first moments of our arrivals we were disappointed with their services, first of all they said there is a charge of £15 per night to use their parking space (the facility which is free or has a reasonable price everywhere else) secondly the phone line was disconnected in our room; we had to walk back and ask the lobby to send someone to look at it and nobody showed up to fix it, we tried to connect our laptop to their TV and it was not working, then we order a pizza from their restaurant but the order was on pending status for 2 hours till finally they brought it, and they charged £5 extra after I made the order for “Tray Charge” without mentioning in advance, we asked the lady who brought the pizza to let the lobby know we were still waiting (4 hours) for someone to come and fix the phone and again no one showed to its regard, and finally when my husband went to lobby to ask for towels and slippers to use the pool the gave him 2 overused thin small towels and asked him to pay £25 to get slippers.. so at that point I got so angry from whole the hassle we were going through due to bad service and went down to complain about their services and the guy in the lobby said this is our policy and we charge for slippers and the information is in our site (where as I have read in the booking site the rooms have bathrobes and slippers and I’ve attached photo) so we asked the lobby man to show us where it says these policies he said: “I WILL CALL THE POLICE AND MAKE YOU LEAVE”…!!!!! all because I was so angry from nonsense answers he was giving us.. We asked him to call the police and left for to use the pool.. after half an hour I went back and asked the guy where is the police then? he started to apologise and giving me 2 slippers free of charge at that point!!! After ruining our time and disrespecting us as costumers who have paid money to receive something.. The guy was absolutely unprofessional and rude, and left us nasty memory from our stay.. We pay money to receive fair services and expect some respect and this is how they treated us,THREATENING to call the police because we were speaking for our right and were angry with their services in every way + their behaviour now off course.. 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻 I rate them -5
