My son, along with many other injuries, lost both of his legs at the knee in a motorcycle accident and has not walked in about 3 years. He has been confined in a wheelchair, with artificial legs. He can now stand and shuffle walk. He is gaining strength to stand, which you lose if you are unable to stand for such a long period. I am about 1400 miles away from him but in a few weeks I am going out to see him. I will send pictures.
