The reason for the poor review is because of customer service and return policy. The product received was as promised. However, the intended user (my father) was not happy with the design claiming it hindered his mobility. We had it out of the box for about an hour. Everything was repackaged and I wrote customer service requesting authorization to return the item. Instead of receiving instructions on how to return the item and a shipping label I received a poorly written (in English) communication which used the words "wanna" and abbreviations like BTW. In short, instead of instructions on returning the item and how much it would cost the customer service person suggested I "gift" the item to someone else and I did they would refund me 6 percent of what I originally paid. I am not returning the item simply because I'm concerned that if I do I have no idea how much I will have to pay or what will be charged for a "restocking fee" (their website does not tell you the amount that will be charged). So, buyer beware. If you buy good luck in trying to return your purchase.
