I ordered a delivery for Friday night prior to a dinner party on Saturday.My app suggested a few hours late but this was fine given I needed the order. At the end of my allotted time slot the driver rang to say they were told not to deliver. Why wait until the end of the time slot when you clearly couldn't deliver all day? This was followed by waiting 25minutes on the phone to reorder to then find the next available slot was Sunday (ie too late). The phone operator said that if they had known earlier they may have managed to get an earlier Saturday order, further infuriating me. You knew you had major problems so why not get ahead of the situation and rebook people to the following morning? Ridiculous.
