I haven't had the products in use long enough to report on whether they make a difference to my feelings of eye strain and my sleep patterns. I followed the application directions. (I always follow application directions.) With the Ocushield product, I have a perfect bubble-free application of both shields. This is unusual for me. Ordinarily, some bit of dust or wrinkle causes a bubble, which then remains a problem for years. This time both the tablet and the phone went on smoothly without bubbles. This is only to be expected for the tablet, which was new. The phone was bought re-conditioned. It has been in use for years without a shield. When I cleaned it and took a careful look at the screen, I noticed many small scratches. The Ocushield handled the marred surface without any problems at all. I am impressed.
